About Us

Our club caters for players of all ages, gender and ability.

We have established a program for 3 and 4 year olds called the Mitchie Midgets and have teams in the Small Sided Football format (Under 6s to Under 9s), the Roo-Ball format (Under 10s), Divisional age groups (Under 11 to U16s mixed teams), girls football (under 11 to Under 17), men's football (Metro, Youth and Premier League), Women's football (Division 1 and 6), and Over 35s and 45s football.

So no matter what your age, sex or ability we will have a team for you.

Our website contains extensive information about our club. Browse the links on our site to find more information. Our club has also published a Welcome Book containing everything you need to know about playing, watching, and being involved in the Mitchelton Football Club. You can obtain a club information book at the club or download an on-line pdf version on our frontpage. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.

Wet Weather Procedures

Match Days - To see if matches have been cancelled due to wet weather:

Check the Football Brisbane website (click here to visit the site) which provides up to the minute information on ground closures for fixtures. This should be your first point of contact for all wet weather enquires;
Check the Mitchie FC website for updates;
Contact your team manager or coach;

Training Nights - To see if training has been cancelled because of bad weather:

We will endeavour to post field closures on the Mitchie FC website between 4pm - 5pm;
If this information is not available it is important that ONLY Managers call the Club to determine whether training has been cancelled.
It is then the responsibility of the Manager to contact their respective teams.
