Mitchelton Sports Club is one of the largest club's in Queensland and runs solely because of the efforts of its volunteers. A Management Committee is in place to manage the affairs of the club, and this committee is supported by a range of additional volunteers who have been appointed to specific support roles.
Without these people the Club cannot possibly operate to its full potential. All members are invited to express their interest for any roles that are vacant, or if they feel they can help the club in any other way. Match Days - To see if matches have been cancelled due to wet weather:
Check the Football Brisbane website (click here to visit the site) which provides up to the minute information on ground closures for fixtures. This should be your first point of contact for all wet weather enquires;
Check the Mitchie FC website for updates;
Contact your team manager or coach;
Training Nights - To see if training has been cancelled because of bad weather:
We will endeavour to post field closures on the Mitchie FC website between 4pm - 5pm;
If this information is not available it is important that ONLY Managers call the Club to determine whether training has been cancelled.
It is then the responsibility of the Manager to contact their respective teams.
