Thanks to all those who have registered to play for Mitchie FC in 2017. Most age groups are now at capacity, so if you are wanting to register to play, you will need to come and see our registrar at the club to see if we might have a spot for you or your loved one. 


We'll will be at the club between 5pm and 7pm, Monday to Thursday nights.

The Mitchelton Football Club Management Committee extends a warm welcome to all returning and new players in 2017. We aim to provide all of our members with the opportunity to play and enjoy the game of football in a positive, family friendly and inclusive environment. We are one of the biggest football clubs in Brisbane with excellent junior development initiatives, quality coaching programs, extensive facilities and an inclusive and social atmosphere. We are competitive on the pitch yet preserve a family, community environment where participation is encouraged.


We look forward to seeing you run around the pitch in a Mitchie FC jersey. This page contains all the information you need about the 2017 season, and the process you need to follow to register to play for our club.





Football Queensland require that all players register themselves online using the My Football Club registration system (or parents can do this for their children, of course). As a result, our club registrars will not be able to complete the registration for you if you visit during the club's sign-on weekend - you need to ensure that you have registered online. 


This year, we also require that all returning players PAY online, as this will mean that you do not need to visit the club to register. As an incentive to encourage members to pay their registration fees online, the 1.8% merchant transaction fee charged by the My Football Club registration system will be absorbed by the club. This year it will not be cheaper to pay registration fees at the club.   


If you are a new player, then you will still need to register and pay online, but you will also need to visit the club (see times below) to provide us with additional information (such as proof of identify).


NOTE: If you have been selected for one of the following 2017 teams & have paid a deposit, then please don't use the registration system to register at this stage. Registration and payment will be completed at the club manually. More information will be provided shortly:


  • Super Youth League, U13 Div 1, U14 Div 1, U18 BPL & U18 Div 1.

  • Age Group Information - Please click here to find out which age group you will be in. 

  • 2017 Get Started Vouchers - You may be eligible to receive a State Government voucher valued at $150 which can be used to help pay for your junior registration. Click here for more information about this scheme. You can still apply for the voucher even if you have already paid your rego fees. Vouchers are available from 25 January 2017.    




To register with Mitchie FC for the 2017 season, all players (except players in the Over 30s womens & mens Over 35/45s mens competition) will need to follow the following process:


Step 1 - Register & Pay Online - (All Players - New & Returning)

All players (returning and new) need to register AND pay via the online "MyFootball Club" registration website which will be open from 9 January 2017:

  • To access the website please click here and then follow the instructions. (For support using the website, please contact (02) 8020 4199 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) 
  • On the Contact Details page, please add or update relevant details as required. This includes uploading a photo of the player (this is a requirement from Football Brisbane - photos must be uploaded for all players).
  • Make sure you select "Mitchelton Sports Club Inc (Club)" on the registration page, then select the relevant package (eg: "MiniRoos 6-11 years").
  • Please note that for second and subsequent junior players the club is still offering a $50 discount, but this will only be available via a rebate. Please pay the full amount during registration and will then provide you with a rebate form to complete for reimbursement of the discount when the season gets underway.  
  • Complete this step of the registration process by fully paying your registration fees online using a credit card (as advised above, there are no longer any additional merchant or transaction fees).
  • Please print the receipt and keep this in a safe place.
  • We'll then contact you via email about the start dates for training, and to provide you with other information.     


Step 2 - Bring Proof of Identity To The Club Sign-On Weekend (For New Players Only)

  • If the player has never played at Mitchelton FC before, then they (or their legal guardian if they are under 18 years of age) will need to come to the club during the times listed below to provide proof of identify.
  • Once you have registered and paid online, please come club during the times indicated below  As per the information provided above, all players must register themselves online using the registration system. Club registrars cannot register you because Football Queensland that all players register themselves.
  • Once you have registered, you can choose to pay in person when you come to the club during the times listed below.


When Througout February:

  • Wednesdays (5pm - 7pm)  
  • Thursdays (5pm - 7pm)

Wet Weather Procedures

Match Days - To see if matches have been cancelled due to wet weather:

  1. Check the Football Brisbane website (click here for Senior ground closures  and click here for Junior ground closures ) which provides up to the minute information on ground closures for fixtures. This should be your first point of contact for all wet weather enquires;
  2. Check the Mitchie FC website for updates;
  3. Contact your team manager or coach;



Training Nights - To see if training has been cancelled because of bad weather:

  1. We will endeavour to post field closures on the Mitchie FC website between 4pm - 5pm;
  2. If this information is not available it is important that ONLY Managers call the Club to determine whether training has been cancelled.
  3. It is then the responsibility of the Manager to contact their respective teams.
