Tuesday, 17 November 2015

newitem  In a very exciting development, news has just come through that Mitchelton FC has attained Level 2 Accreditation as part of the FFA National Club Accreditation Scheme. This makes Mitchelton the first men’s Brisbane Premier League club (and only the sixth club in QLD) to achieve this statusclub_accreditation_mitchy.

In a personal letter of congratulations, FFA CEO David Gallop said this achievement showed that Mitchelton had taken yet another step towards achieving best practice in the areas of coach education, club governance and volunteer development. “Your club has put itself in a better position to retain and recruit players, attract sponsors and attract volunteers” My Gallop said.

Club President Roger McIntosh said this was a significant development in the progress of the club and showed its commitment to being a market leader in key areas of player and coach development and facility improvement. “We are one of the biggest clubs in QLD with 1150 active playing members. Constant self evaluation and improvement is imperative in keeping us at the forefront of football development and ties in well with our plans for future expansion”.

McIntosh gave special praise to Accreditation Officer Grant Bramwell who has worked tirelessly on this project.
