Firstly I'd like to say a
very big thank-you to everyone that turned up on Saturday 8 October for
the 2011 Junior Presentation.
The
weather did put
a bit of a "dampener" on proceedings, and the delays did
cause some minor confusion and threw a lot of peoples plans
into chaos..... but we got there in the end and it
was largely due to the assistance that I received from the
following people:
-
Craig and Andrea
Beevers
-
Mark and Liz
Kubler
-
Greg and Sue
Butcher
-
Kev
Jones
-
Tony
Bernardi, Gary Dale and Dale Price
-
Adam
Pilat
-
Graham "Pa"
Coomber and Andy Case
-
Craig
Roberts
-
Glenn
Ramsay
-
Carlo
Terribile
-
Kirk and Brent
Tehan aka Bi
& B2!!
-
and last, but by
no means least, my family........Heidi and Jordan
Kilpatrick
A massive
thank-you to each and every one of you. If I have missed anyone,
please accept my most sincere apologies along with
my gratitude.
For
those that did not receive their 5 or 10 year recognition I do
apologize. I have ordered these and hope to have them either later this
week or next. Your dedication and loyalty to Mitchelton has not gone
unnoticed.
Secondly, I want to give a big thank
you all the Coaches and Managers for 2011. I trust you
enjoyed being involved with the teams and I do hope to see you
all back at Mitchie in 2012! We are already looking
at how we can provide additional support for our volunteers next
season. Some crucial roles have been filled and I am excited
about the prospects the new season will bring.
Thank you to the
MFC Committee of 2011. Kevin Jones - President, Craig
Roberts - Treasurer, Adam Pilat - Senior Director, Brenda
Mitchell - Womens Director and Rohan Cassell - Secretary. The
Committee is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of the club
at all levels. We have accomplished much in 2011 and will continue
to work through the off season to ensure that the
facilities are in the best shape for the commencement of
the 2012 season.
For the club to
continue to provide the highest quality playing surface we ask for
each and everyone's assistance. Shortly you will see some
major work taking place on most of the pitches. We
ask that you help by staying off all fields until we are given
the all clear by the company we employ to repair and maintain.
Training will not commence until this advise is received.
Any pre-season training is to be conducted on the first 2 fields on
your left as you enter the driveway. Goal mouths will again be
out of bounds for all training next year.
I'd like to take
this opportunity to wish you all the best for the off
season....enjoy the break!!
Cheers,
Pedr Kilpatrick
Junior Director
