Big Night for Womens Sapphire League Match This Saturday

newitem  mitchiefcwomenMitchie FC have a big night planned for our Womens Sapphire League game against Peninsular Power this Saturday 19 May 2012. Everyone is invited to come down to support the team and enjoy the festivities. 

 

Apart from the fantastic and exciting football that these two excellent teams will be playing, there will be plenty of other activities on offer as well. We will have some pre-game entertainment, and our juniors will be playing exhibition games before the match and at half time.  There will also be some prizes to give away, and the bar and canteen will be open.

 

So come and join us at Teralba Park for what will be a great night for the family. The main match kicks off at 6.00pm, but all the activities will be starting from about 5.00pm.

 

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday night. 

 

 
FBTV Coming to Mitchie FC on Friday 18 May 2012

newitem  paulytvA big Mitchie FC welcome to Robert Blanch and Paul Van Dyk from FBTV who will be coming to Teralba Park on Friday 18 May 2012 to record the Premier Division 1 Match against Logan Lightning. The match kicks off at 8.30pm and there is sure to be a big crowd tyring their hardest to get themselves included in the match highlights.

 

The match is being recorded by Pauly TV, who produce weekly Match Highlight packages for up to 3 games per round of the Football Brisbane Mens and Womens senior competitions. The Match Highlights are around ten minutes long and include: Team Line-ups and News, commentated highlights of the game shot in HD (High Definition) including all the goals, saves and the stuff headed to the end of year bloopers reel. Mitchie FC Fundraising Gala Dinner - 13 July 2012

newitem  frank_farinaAll Mitchelton Football Club members and guests are invited to attend the Mitchie FC Senior Gala Fundraising Dinner which will be held at Gambaro's Restaurant & Function Centre on Friday 13 July 2012.

   

The Guest Speaker for the night will be former Socceroos, Brisbane Roar & Brisbane Strikers Coach, Frank Farina.

   

This very special event will include plenty of entertainment and activities, including auctions, sporting memorabilia sales and raffle prizes. You'll also get the chance to meet and talk to the members of Mitchie FC's senior teams.

 

The cost for the evening will be $85 per person, and this will include a superb two course meal and a three hour drinks package (beer and wine).

Players required for Mitchie FC Over 35's team

newitemPlayers are required for one of the Mitchelton Football Club Division 1 Over 35s teams. The team plays in the Veto Over 35s Football Competition (see www.over35sfootball.org.au for more information about this competion). Most matches are played on Friday nights.

Wet Weather Procedures

Match Days - To see if matches have been cancelled due to wet weather:

  1. Check the Football Brisbane website (click here to visit the site) which provides up to the minute information on ground closures for fixtures. This should be your first point of contact for all wet weather enquires;
  2. Check the Mitchie FC website for updates;
  3. Contact your team manager or coach;

 

 

Training Nights - To see if training has been cancelled because of bad weather:

  1. We will endeavour to post field closures on the Mitchie FC website between 4pm - 5pm;
  2. If this information is not available it is important that ONLY Managers call the Club to determine whether training has been cancelled.
  3. It is then the responsibility of the Manager to contact their respective teams.
