  There are a couple of great events coming up in June for all members and their families to enjoy. We hope you can come down to Teralba Park to enjoy these events and support your community club:

The Mitchie Winter Warmer - 6:00pm Saturday 15 June 2013

This is a great opportunity to come down to Teralba Park and enjoy everything that your community club is all about - friendship, football, fun and food. Our high flying Capital League Senior Mens team will be playing in the main match at 6:00pm, so you'll see some great football. Our canteen and bar will be operating as usual, but our senior womens teams will also be running a gourmet BBQ and sausage sizzle. There will also be raffles with special prizes, junior exhibition matches, and it will also be the opening of the new bar/coffee area.

Trivia Night - Saturday 22 June 2013

Saturday 22 June has been set down as the night for the first annual Mitchie FC Trivia Night! It will be a night not to be missed so mark it in your smart phone calendars now. More details about this event will be available soon.

  All members are advised that the committee car park has moved to the six spots immediately in front of the clubhouse. The spots are clearly marked.

The committee requests that all members help us out by not parking in these spots. Committee members need regular, easy access and often have equipment or supplies that need to be carried to/from to the clubhouse.  

  Our Mitchie Midget Coach, Enzo Dagostino, has advised that the training will now be combined into a single group.

So all Mitchie Midgets will start training at 8.30am on Saturday mornings from this week.

Subject: Junior (SSF and Divisional) Fixture Scheduling

The following information on SSF and Divisional Fixture Scheduling is very important and should be communicated to all members.

Over the past three weeks Football Brisbane and a number of club volunteers have been working to get the scheduling system in a functional state for automated use in the new Competition Management System. Up until now, all work for the 2500 teams in SSF and Junior football has had to be manually entered by the staff. This work has entailed identifying all teams, all fields at every ground and times these fields are available. We then needed to ensure these details were entered into the Competition Management System.

This process will be completed today and only then will Football Brisbane be in a position to produce the fixture schedules for SSF fixtures 3 onwards.

  The official season gets under way from today for all of our junior teams. The Mitchie FC Management Committee would like to wish all teams the best of luck for the season.

  UPDATE - The fixture schedules for Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 & Under 9 Small Sided Football (SSF) have been released.

  Mitchelton Football Club has kicked off another great initiative by launching Mitchie FC TV, our very own You Tube Channel. 

The channel will host match highlights, information from our coaches, and messages from our President, Roger McIntosh. 

The highlights from our senior mens opening round match against Pine Hills, which was produced by Football Brisbane, are now available from Mitchie FC TV.
