Please register an 'Expression of Interest' (EOI) below, if you would like to be part of Mitchelton FC's Academy Program in 2027. This is now open to players from any club, and is necessary even if you are an existing MFC player already offered retention. A trials timetable is available via the 'More Info' button, but please note all our trials, which begin in early October 2026, are by invitation-only, post EOI. We will be in touch after the end of September.

Limited places are available in the following age groups:

• U10 – U18 FQA Boys
• U11 – U18 FQA Girls

Trials will also be held for Pre-Academy teams, which are for junior players aiming to become a future Academy player. Please click the info button, if you want to learn more about Pre-Academy. You should log interest in a Pre-Academy team, whether it's your first preference OR you wish to be considered for a Pre-Academy spot in the event of an unsuccessful Academy application. It's possible to select both the Academy and Pre-Academy options on the EOI form.

MFC 2026 JUNIOR BREAKUP EVENT - SATURDAY 10/10/2026

Join us at MFC as we close out the 2026 Winter season at our MFC Junior breakup event. There will be obstacle courses, jumping castles, a sausage sizzle, medal and trophy presentations and slushies available to purchase from the canteen.

Pre-purchased tickets are $13 per person if bought by Sunday 4/10/2025 ($15 on the day) and includes a sausage, a drink (Kirks Soft drink/600 ml Water) and unlimited access to amusements. Pre-purchased wristbands can be collected from the club canteen Monday 5th October to Friday 9th October from 5pm to 7:30pm.

Rides available from 1pm - 5pm, the Sundowner Sports Bar will be open for those 18 years and over until the last man standing!

Mitchelton Football Club is now welcoming expressions of interest from dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified coaches to be part of our Academy coaching team in 2027. We also have opportunities to support player development in our 'Pathway' (Pre-Academy) program.

Academy coaches need a valid Blue Card and at least an Advanced ‘C’ Diploma by the end of 2026. We are particularly keen to hear from coaches who would like to progress their current qualification.

We would also like to hear from people at the beginning of their coaching journey e.g. with a ‘Foundation of Football’ certificate, looking to assist and develop as a coach.
