2026 September School Holiday Clinic Information and registration

Looking for football fun to keep active and ready these school holidays?

Come join us at Teralba Park, home of Mitchelton Mustangs FC, for two fun-filled days of football development, games and plenty of opportunities to improve your skills!

Players can choose from a Mixed Junior Clinic or a Goalkeeper (GK) Clinic, with sessions designed to combine fun, physical development, technical coaching and enjoyable game-based activities.

Our club Academy Coaches and Head of Goalkeeping will provide valuable technical tips and individual feedback to help players develop and improve their game.

Open to boys and girls from all clubs and schools!

 Goalkeeper Clinic
Goalkeepers will spend approximately two-thirds of each session working separately with our Head of Goalkeeping on GK-specific technical development, while outfield players work on their foundation skills.

All players will then come together for the final one-third of the session to practise and refine their skills in realistic game formats.

Goalkeepers can expect to work on:
Positioning, footwork and angles
Handling and dealing with crosses
Shot stopping and reactions
Distribution and decision making
Playing out from the back
Applying skills in realistic game situations
Our goalkeepers will work under the close guidance of the club Head of Goalkeeping to refine their individual skills before coming together with the group to put those skills into practice during games.


⚽ Outfield Player specific sessions
Players will work on four key foundational skills:

Running with the ball
First touch
Striking the ball
1 v 1
Coaches will provide additional individual feedback throughout the clinic, with sessions also focusing on:

Ball mastery
Agility
Decision making
Technical execution
Players will practise their skills through a combination of structured coaching sessions and game formats, giving them the opportunity to test and apply their skills in realistic match environments.
